- Open the CustomGeometry-2.5.0.xpi file in Firefox. (In Thunderbird, hit "Tools," "Extensions." Hit the "Install" button and find the CustomGeometry-2.4.0.xpi file.)
- Choose to install the extension.
- Restart Firefox when instructed to do so.
- Open the addons window by clicking "Tools," then "Add-ons."
- Select "Custom Geometry" from the list.
- Click the "Options" button.
- Set the window geometry options that you prefer.
- Hit "Add" to add your options to the list. You might want to also remove the defaults.
- Hit "OK" to commit your options.
- Right click on the toolbar and hit "Customize."
- Drag the "Custom Geometry" button onto your toolbar somewhere.
- Click the new icon on the toolbar to apply these settings at any time.
